KRDO TV is looking for an energetic and professional news anchor/reporter. The winning candidate will be a news professional who works well under deadline pressure in a team environment. Our newsroom is dedicated to breaking news and breaking stories.

Job Description: Responsibilities include: present the news in an authoritative and compelling manner; produce segments of newscasts, checking scripts for accuracy and impact and rewriting scripts as needed; public appearances to represent the station; learn and understand issues driving news stories; gather facts, write, produce and present news stories, and react to breaking local news.

Requirements: Applicants must have a degree in communications, mass media, journalism or other related studies and a minimum of two years experience anchoring and reporting regularly scheduled newscasts in a commercial broadcast television station. Must have good communication and writing skills, a good voice, and an authoritative delivery of the news.
