Reporter, Idaho Press

The Idaho Press, one of the state’s largest and fast-growing newspapers, is seeking talented, curious journalists to tell important stories to its readers in the Treasure Valley. 

This position is for a general assignment reporter but candidates with interest or experience in covering the criminal justice system and/or growth and development will be given additional consideration.

This area has experienced some of the nation’s fastest growth, while also dominating national lists as a great place to live. With offices in Boise and Nampa, we want journalists who can help us document the market’s rapid changes for our readers.

Applicants should have strong reporting skills; writing and digital skills; clean grammar and knowledge of AP Style; a solid work ethic and a commitment to learning.
