Rachael Daigle has taken over as editor of the Boise Weekly. Daigle has been with the paper on and off for five years, serving as staff writer and entertainment editor among other posts. Daigle is a Boise State graduate, who has spent the better part of a decade in Boise between stints traveling the world extensively.
As part of the newsroom reshuffling, Deanna Darr is taking on the position of features editor. Darr has worked as the paper’s news editor for the last year after working at papers in Jackson Hole, Wyo. and Bend, Ore. She is a graduate of Arizona State University who grew up in Boise.
Nathaniel Hoffman will take over as news editor, trading in his freelance credentials to reenter the newsroom. Hoffman has covered Idaho politics for several years, both for Boise Weekly and his own Web site, paleomedia.net. He worked in the Bay Area before returning to Idaho with his wife and two young daughters.
Finally, Tara Morgan has joined Boise Weekly as staff writer. Morgan, a Texas native, moved to Idaho from New York late last year and immediately began working as a freelance writer for the paper.
IDAHO MOUNTAIN EXPRESS
After two years at the Boise Weekly, Shea Andersen has taken over as editor of the Idaho Mountain Express.
Editor Gregory Foley stepped down from his post July 2, after leading the company’s news coverage for more than two years. He continues to work for the newspaper in a part-time capacity as its Web site news editor, in addition to working on personal writing projects.

Idaho Business Review welcomes its three new reporters.
Zach Hagadone is covering high tech, health care, transportation
and energy. Simon Shifrin is covering law and government,
as well as the City of Boise, including the CCDC.
Dani Grigg is covering construction and development in Ada
and Canyon counties.

Jim Peck of Idaho Public Television has accepted a position as Executive Producer at Michigan State University, leading a team creating programs for the Big Ten Network.
