Before transitioning to online-only journalism, Nate was a newspaper reporter and columnist. He worked for the Idaho Falls Post Register, Rexburg Standard Journal and freelanced for a dozen other publications throughout Idaho and the surrounding states and province.

Nate has reported in local radio and television, and he loves to tell stories that bring together multiple types of media to tell the best narratives. He has degrees in web programming from the College of Eastern Idaho and broadcast communication from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

He lives in Idaho Falls with his wife, Amy, and their three boys.
