Register Now for the Best of 2021 Awards Banquet

You have just one week left to register to attend the Best of 2021 Awards Banquet.

After two years on hold, we’ll be gathering on Saturday, April 30, to celebrate some of the best work of Idaho journalists in the last year. Get dressed up and enjoy a wonderful meal with your friends and colleagues as award winners claim their bragging rights.

We’re returning to the Boise Centre East in the heart of downtown Boise. We’ll gather in the ballroom on the fourth floor of the Boise Centre beginning at 6 p.m. for a social hour featuring a no-host bar and a chance to catch up with colleagues. You can enter from the Boise Center East entrance just across the Grove from the main Boise Centre.

The awards portion of the evening will start at 7 p.m., when we’ll hand out our first round of awards and conduct club business, followed by dinner. This year’s menu will feature a choice of:

  • with Parmesan risotto cake and roasted red pepper lemon cream (gluten free)

OR

  • with fontina potato gratin and Cabernet mushroom peppercorn demi-glace (gluten free)

OR

  • with lemon-leek polenta, ratatouille and butternut squash puree (gluten free, vegan, dairy free)

The cost for the banquet is $60 for members or $67 for non-members (including a $2 processing fee), or you can make sure you get to sit with all your friends by purchasing a reserved table. Reserved tables with seating for up to 10 people are $590 (including a $16 processing fee). Reserved tables are the only way to guarantee preferred seating. All other seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Because of supply issues, you MUST register for the event by 5 p.m., Thursday, April 20, to ensure you will be able to attend.

Please be aware that the Boise Centre is no longer accepting cash at the bar.
